How it started... Originally this started as an experiment for us to try out some of our ideas and a place for our homepage. Ever since it has grown and evolved so we decided to make this a permanent part of our endeavour. This site is for sharing of ideas, skills and experiences on things we know. Currently it is on photography, film camera and digital camera, and also to showcase our photographs on the photo gallery and photo essay. There are also write-ups on home computing and how and where you can find freeware, open source software and shareware for beginners. We just added a fun page with javascript game and a freeware and shareware review sections. More are in the pipeline and will be posted on the site news when ready. So stay tuned for updates......

Site News

Jeju Island – Island of the gods
Announcing a new addition to our slide show and photo tour section; Jeju Island – Island of the Gods of South Korea. It has a new design compared to our previous slide show. In time all previous slide show will be updated to follow this new format.

The new design on the Jeju Island slideshow is two fold. Firstly it has a new interface and layout. Next we recoded the slide show engine script based on PHPSlideShow version 0.6.2 from zinkwazi.com. In the Jeju Island slideshow we utilize the core portion of PHPslideshow v0.6.2 and customise it to fit our site design.

The latest PHPslideshow script from zinkwazi is version 0.9.9.2. The current version of PHPslideshow script is beautifully designed and the best part is it's a free PHP slide show script. It can be downloaded from http://www.zinkwazi.com/wp/scripts. We take this opportunity to thank Greg Lawler of zinkwzi.com for his wonderful free slide show script.

Though our home page has not been updated for some time, many parts of the site have received updates and changes now and then. We also have a major update on our Photo Essay on KLCC with enhanced photos and some changes in early 2007. coolio

Updated Camera Guide.
The photography world has being developing and progressing with leaps and bounds recently. To get in-line with the growth we have a major update of our Camera Guide to bring it to current level. There are more work to be done as the digital camera market is still developing very rapidly. We do not want to predict how it will develop in the next couple of months no but will update again when the dust settles down. For the time being the Camera Guide is on par with current level and what is left for us to do now is to update the images which will be completed in the coming days or week. coolio

How's the going?
Though we have not updated this website for a while, it sure isn't a sign of our waning interest. In fact we were working on our section on tea and recipes. The recipes section already began its life at our weblog and our collections are not be the copy-paste type from other sources. They come from our own or innovated from more traditional fare and for sure these are tried and tested by us. yes

At the same time, we were busy with our tea section as well which was originally to be part of this site. Finally we decided to create a new site for our tea section as it is easier to create and maintain a separate theme on it. Our tea site is called A2Tea.com and is at its infancy right now but it is on-line and alive.coolio Though there isn't much on that site for the moment but we will build on it continuously.

Now we're back working on this site. The first thing will be a minor update on the style sheet and the colour theme; some might have noticed the changes on our weblog already. We are also in the midst of updating some of the articles which will be on-line soon and more articles will be added from time to time.wink
